Hausmeister Krause – Ordnung muss sein ist eine deutsche Comedy-Fernsehserie, die seit 1999 von SAT.1 ausgestrahlt wird. In den Hauptrollen spielen Tom Gerhardt (Dieter), Axel Stein (Tommie), Janine Kunze (Carmen) und Irene Schwarz (Lisbeth). Die Serie wird produziert von Bernd Eichinger und Herman Weigel. Die Serie pointiert das deutsche Spiessbürgertum. Dieter Krause, der Inbegriff des deutschen Spiessbürgers, ist sauber, ordnungsliebend, denunziantisch, neugierig, stets auf seinen eigenen Vorteil bedacht, zu höher gestellten Personen unterwürfig und zu Untergebenen und Schwächeren brutal und ungerecht. Viele Handlungselemente, wie zum Beispiel ständige Verwechselungen, Missgeschicke und Missverständnisse, entstammen dem Boulevardtheater.
