The environment the cd creates is very relaxed, dark, and somehow very very comfortable and comforting at the same time. If you like mazzy star or cowboy junkies you'll dig this quite a bit, lots of nice long drawn out acoustic guitar bits, haunting female vocals thrown around here and there, minimalistic production work, etc. The standout of the cd is by far lullabye. It's a 10 minute long slow building song that at 5 minutes in just breaks out into a continually climbing acoustic guitar solo that is to acoustic guitar driven music what epic trance is to trance music. It swells and builds and then breaks down only to come back with more oomph than before and envelops you in sound. A very nice choice and highly recommended.
